Sylhet Bowled Out for 38 as Chattogram Post 337

Sylhet were bowled out for just 38 runs on the opening day of the National Cricket League (NCL) Second Eleven’s new three-day format.

At BKSP, Sylhet were dismissed in 22.2 overs. Rangpur’s Arif Ahmed Anik took three wickets. Rangpur ended the day on 128 for six.

At Purbachal, Chattogram enjoyed a strong batting display after opting to bat first. They finished the day on 337 for six, with Irfan Sabri Takrir scoring a century.

Takrir made 116 runs from 197 balls, hitting 15 fours and one six. Shahriar Ahmed scored 73, while Shamim Mia remained unbeaten on 67.

At BKSP Ground No. 2, Dhaka were bowled out for 143. Khulna’s Rabiul Islam Rabi claimed seven wickets for 50 runs. Khulna finished the day on 118 for three.

At BKSP Ground No. 4, Mymensingh were dismissed for 137. Rajshahi’s Naeem Islam Jr took four wickets for just four runs. Rajshahi ended the day on 125 for three, with opener Emon Ali scoring 56.
